I am putting together a register of SS Jaguar tourers built in 1936/37 and these cars I have not been able to identify any clues

General Discussion / Automatic transmission conversion

I have an XK-150 DHC with the Borg-Warner automatic transmission (4th LHD DHC built). It leaks badly. Anyone have experience or a recommendation regarding an upgrade to the GM T700 overdrive transmission? Also considering a 5-speed manual but hesitant to change the car that drastically, wonder what the impact on value would be. Thanks!

Dick,
Why is there no way to renew membership and use PayPay on the website? Or maybe there is and I just missed it?

I attended Jason Len's car meet for MS last Saturday, 4/14/2012, and took my 1949 alloy XK120. It was a nice day and lots of interesting cars -- not only Jags. Good food, good wine, good music, good people. Only two XK120's, mine and a late fixed head 120M.

Dan, with all due respect to CJA, if you have an E-type you should be on the JCNA E-Type forum which is very, very, active.
The url is  http://www.jcna.com/forums/main.php?Vfnum=130
I think you can view the forum without joining JCNA, but you must be a member to post or reply.

Dick, we're going to put on a new hood (top). Currently looking for semi-original mohair fabric, but so far no results.
